One happy pig! Doing what pigs do best rooting around in the mud!

Harvest has started! The Winter Barley (sown in the winter) has been cut and is now in the shed, the combine (and the driver) will have a rest for a week before we start the Spring Barley. When we are combining we have one or two tractors with trailers whose job it is the keep up with the combine. When the combine is full the grain is off loaded into the trailer often on the move (not as easy as it looks), which then take the trailer back to the farm tip it up in the shed and get back to the field! When the weather is right, we will carry on combining well in to the evening, it’s a tiring time of year as the pigs, cattle and sheep still need feeding and checking every day too!
